China and Russia abandon the dollar
It should be no surprise to anyone following the decline of the U.S. Dollar, but China and Russia have made an agreement to trade with each other without using the dollar.
Here’s the story:
China and Russia have decided to renounce the US dollar and resort to using their own currencies for bilateral trade, Premier Wen Jiabao and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced late on Tuesday.
